About the Janssen Study
We are interested in seeing how an addition of a new antidepressant treatment affects your overall health. This treatment may be medication or non-medication therapy your doctor recommends.
Have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD)
Are taking an SSRI or SNRI (antidepressant medication)
Are planning to add a new medication or therapy for depression
There is no cost or insurance required to participate in this study. For eligible participants, we may also provide:
- Compensation for patients
- No-cost healthcare (labs, health screenings, psychiatric care)
- Transportation (or reimbursement for travel costs)

About the Intracellular Study
This is a study for people with major depressive disorder (MDD). We want to learn more about an investigational study drug in people with MDD. The study will look at how well the study drug works when taken in addition to standard treatment. The study will last for about nine weeks. We are seeking people who:
Are 18-65 years of age
Have a confirmed diagnosis of MDD
Do not feel that your current antidepressant medication is working well
There is no cost or insurance required to participate in this study. For eligible participants, we may also provide:

Have been diagnosed with depression or major depressive disorder (MDD)
Are currently taking an antidepressant medication

We are investigating how patients with depression respond to a new oral antidepressant to help their symptoms. We are currently seeking volunteers who:
Have been diagnosed with depression or major depressive disorder (MDD)

We are investigating how patients with depression respond to a new oral antidepressant when it is added onto their current antidepressant medication. We are currently seeking volunteers who:
Have been diagnosed with depression or major depressive disorder (MDD)
Currently living in Florida or California Currently living in Florida or California
About the Otsuka Study
Learn more about a research study of an investigational drug for adults who have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD) and have used an antidepressant medication without sufficient improvement in their depression symptoms. To pre-qualify for the study, participants must:
Be 18 to 65 years of age
Have been diagnosed with MDD and currently are experiencing a depressive episode
Have used at least one but not more than three antidepressant medications in your current episode without sufficient improvement in your depressive symptoms.
