Our Mission

At Interventional Psychiatry of Tampa Bay, we specialize in providing cutting-edge and compassionate care to each one of our patients. Our company was founded to improve community access to clinical research opportunities, promote diversity and representation among participants, and provide care options not offered elsewhere.

How does a clinical trial work?

Contact us

Enter your information through our contact form, and a clinician will reach out to you to discuss the study further.

Phone Prescreen

A clinician will call you to discuss the trial. During this time, we will ask some basic questions about your medical and psychiatric history. This will help us determine which study will be most beneficial to you. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the study.

Screening visit

We will schedule a time for you to come into our office for an initial visit. This appointment will be similar to a standard psychiatric care appointment. Depending on the study, we may assess your symptoms, ask additional questions about your medical history, perform a physical or other tests such as EKGs/labs, and you may see the doctor. All study-related healthcare is provided at no-cost to you.

Trial Enrollment

If you pass the screening and qualify for the study, you may be enrolled in the study. Specific details are different for each study. You will come in for visits where we may dispense medication (or placebo), assess your symptoms, and provide other psychiatric care. Your participation is voluntary, and you may stop participating in the study at any time for any reason.
